P800s™ are the cheapest strong authenticator OTP cards in the market. They are fully passive, without active OTP chip, in ISO credit card format.
With challenge-response algorithm, P800™ return OTP time-based code, through cursor. P800s™ are also particularly suited against Man-In-the Middle attacks.
Applications: OATH Strong Authentication
The authentication is based upon a two stage process: a challenge-response stage and an OTP time- based authentication stage.
The P800™ card is used in the first stage to answer to the challenge. The answer is the time-based OTP code with OATH-TOTP algorithm.
How it works:
- The user logs in with user name and password in a first step
- The user receives a challenge
- The user answer to the challenge with P800™
- The user is secure logged in.
